Now we are in 2026, I’m excited that this is the year of the Tate Britain exhibition, ‘Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant’, with the opening set for 12th November 2026 and running until 11th April 2027.
These two incredibly creative and prolific members of the celebrated Bloomsbury Group had a fascinating relationship with one another and to many other notable figures of the group, since recognised for their important contribution to the art world, across many disciplines. The ripples of their output continue to be felt to this day.
In 2025, I was privileged to conserve on a beautiful Duncan Grant drawing which required some repairs and reframing. It was a wonderful project and I will definitely be aiming to head to London to see this show.
